Searcher Pro enables you to manage files and find text, even in ZIP compressed files, in any disk or folder based on any combination of specifications for file name and directory (with true wildcards), text contents, or file attributes.
New for 32 bit Windows OS are: long file name support, Quick Viewer support, saving and printing of the found file and text list, three types of date ranges, and the advanced features listed below.
Once found, files can be copied, moved, deleted, ZIPed, un-ZIPed, launched, or viewed with the Quick Viewer or the included multi-windowing, large file, Searcher Pro Editor. You can even configure Searcher Pro to open files and scroll to the found text in your favorite application. Once you have configured Searcher Pro for a task, you can store the configuration and return to it with the click of a button. Very handy for searching and backing up specific files!
Advanced features include fuzzy text search (finds misspelled words), Boolean proximity search (finds words in combinations), and regular expressions (text wildcards). You can also search for files based on a size range and three different date ranges.
